2º Encuentro: Aprender para Enseñar con Dr. Linda Gerena

In this talk for parents and teachers, Dr Linda Gerena will present Bloom’s Taxonomy of Critical Thinking, a framework built upon questioning to promote higher-order thinking in students.

Using this structure and a variety of texts, Dr Gerena will demonstrate practical ways for parents and teachers to develop the skills to analyze, evaluate and create in English.

Participants will receive samples of questions from each of the framework levels.

Speaker: Dr. Linda Gerena is an Associate Professor, Fulbright Scholar, and Teacher Educator at City University of New York.

Talk will be in English.

Children ages 5 to 10 may also come to participate in an activity with volunteers from American Space Madrid during Dr. Gerena’s talk.
