The International Institute and the American Space Madrid will host our fourth “Community Coffee Talk” with parents and community members: “STEAM Powered Exploration: Technology Integration to enhance student learning.” The talk will take place over coffee in the library and will be facilitated by Hunter McCallister, a STEM teacher from IIE and Robotics & Technology teacher at American School of Madrid who works with students of all ages.
This talk will focus on how STEAM based projects can better prepare students for our technology filled future and a workplace many won’t even recognize. Mr. McCallister will share the technologies and methodologies he incorporates in his classes to grow strong learners and problem solvers. We will discuss stratagies and and resources for parents to incorperate at home as well as projects that can be great for the whole family.
The Community Coffee Talks series has been organized to share trends from the fields of education and language learning with members of the International Institute and American Space Madrid community.
