With the end of the trimester approaching, the YL 3 weekday group began making decorations for their play, “JDDCAF.” The Young Learners wrote the entire script themselves, based on research they did throughout the term in the computer laboratory. Kids’ Club is still learning about spiders and insects. They have read two more Eric Carle books, The Very Grouchy Ladybug and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. They looked at the life cycle of a caterpillar and compared fiction (story) books with non-fiction (information) books. This Kids’ Club group loves crafts!
