“Ensemble for These Times” (E4TT) will perform a selection from their program “Proyecto Guernica”, a “call-and-response” style concert that premiered on April 17 in San Francisco, California. The focus and inspiration of the project lies in the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of Pablo Picasso's “Guernica”, and includes works by Spanish and American composers based on Spanish poetry or inspired by Spanish art.
“Ensemble for These Times” (E4TT) is a new chamber ensemble bringing together soprano Nanette McGuinness, pianist Dale Tsang, and David Garner, the 2015 American Composition Award winner and regular cellist with the group. In the 2017/18 season Anne Lerner-Wright will be the guest cellist. The “Esemble” focuses on XNUMXth and XNUMXst century music that is relevant, engaging, original, that excites audiences today and will continue to do so in the future.

“Ensemble for These Times” (E4TT) is a new music chamber group consisting of award-winning soprano Nanette McGuinness, pianist Dale Tsang, and the 2015 American Prize winner in Composition, David Garner, generally with cello. The 2017/18 season guest cellist is Anne Lerner-Wright. The ensemble focuses on 20th and 21st century music that is relevant, engaging, original, and compelling–music that resonates today and will speak to tomorrow.
