New cycle of the English reading club for young adults (Young Adult-YA fiction) in which to explore contemporary North American fiction.
The literary circle will meet once a month in the library of the International Institute to discuss and analyze a work of fiction, with Morgan Hogue as facilitator.
For the month of February we will read Jimena's recommendation: “The Pearl” by John Steinbeck.
Activity with limited capacity aimed at teenagers between 15 and 17 years old.

Free for library members and with a cost of €5 per session for non-members.
Payment can be made on site on the same day of the activity with cash or card.

Morgan is originally from Maryland, United States, and has lived in Madrid for 7 years. She obtained a Master's Degree in Bilingual Education in Alcalá de Henares, and teaches English in bilingual secondary schools. Besides teaching, her hobbies include collecting jewelry, trying new restaurants, visiting art museums, traveling, and watching movies, but she spends most of her time reading. Morgan is part of two book clubs in Madrid, and she loves trying to convince people to read her favorite books.
