Getting ready for the big show…
Our Young Learners are working hard to prepare for the Harmony with Haiti concert this Thursday, March 4th. The students are practicing their songs,
writing scripts for powerpoints about Haiti and volunteerism, and creating posters for the event that show facts about Haiti as well as messages of hope.
Some of our students in Levels 5 and 6 have written original poems in class related to Haiti. Look for their poems in our next post!
As you can see, our students are speaking, listening, reading, and writing as part of this project. “Experiencing English,” and all for a good cause.
