Young Learners 1 fishing, creating and dancing!
The Young Learners 1 group went fishing last week! They fished out the letters to create the words related to art activities and feelings we have done and talked about throughout the course. They had a great time doing the activity, which helped them review and solidify their understanding of spelling words in a kinesthetic way. You can see in the pictures that they also made leprechaun hats for St. Patrick's Day.
They also learned to lucky leprechaun dance and song. In case you would like to practice it at home, the words are: Put your hat on…Take your hat off…Put it on the ground and dance around it. They then do a 'wiggly' dance (wiggle your fingers, wiggle your arms, wiggle your shoulders, etc). Enjoy!
