The International Institute and the Ramón Menéndez Pidal Foundation present the second conference of the cycle Educators and feminists. New pedagogical horizons between Spain and America dedicated to María de Maeztu, pedagogue and director of the Residencia de Señoritas. This cycle is part of the commemoration of the year María Goyri (1923-2023).
The cycle is made up of six conferences from October 14 to November 28 on Tuesdays at 19:00 p.m. Some of them are held at the International Institute and others at the Ramón Menéndez Pidal Foundation as indicated below (see “Program”).

Isabel Pérez Villanueva Tovar is a professor of History of Thought and Social and Political Movements at the Faculty of Political Sciences and Sociology of the UNED. A good part of her research has been dedicated to the field of the Free Institution of Education and its projection, especially through the Board for the Expansion of Scientific Studies and Research, in the reform of the University.
