“Julio Orgaz, a divorced man in his forties who works in a publishing house, visits the psychiatrist Carlos Rodó and meets a married woman, Laura, in a park in Madrid, in whom he thinks he recognizes a reincarnation of his lover Teresa Zagro, who died in an accident a short time ago. Their relationship is consummated and passion drags them to the idea of ​​killing Laura's husband, who is none other than Dr. Rodó."
