The NBA comes to the International Institute! Welcome Rudy Fernandez!
On Monday, June 13th, through an event sponsored by the Asociación de Baloncesto Colegial and the US Embassy, we had the pleasure of hosting Spanish basketball star Rudy Fernandez for a Meet and Greet with our students and various local schools. Rudy spoke and answered questions about his experience playing for the Portland Trailblazers, how he began his career in sports, and also what life is like for him in the United States. Rudy was a wonderful example for the students of sportsmanship, hard work, and dedication. We wish him the best!
