In this series of meetings in English, we invite participants to listen to the sounds of the protest song of the XNUMXth and XNUMXst century in the United States.
It will be a cycle of 10 sessions with three municipal public libraries in the downtown area and a presentation session in the library of the International Institute.
The tenth and final session will be on “Who is America? the revival of the protest song for the age of Trump.”
Makers Unite! It is an activity for children from 9 to 12 years old where we will experiment with LittleBits, a modular system to build electronic systems with small pieces magnetized together and without soldering. Every month in a different municipal public library!
Made in the USA is an activity where parents and children have the opportunity to participate in maker activities together, in collaboration with Andrea Brady. The club takes place once a month and focuses on creating things together that families can easily replicate at home.
Activity in Spanish to teach boys and girls between 9 and 14 years old (preferably for ages between 12 and 14 years old) to create music through computer codes (live coding). Steven Delvalle will use the Sonic Pi platform to teach kids how to create their own melodies and rhythms through computer programming and coding.
