“More than a thousand glass objects that are represented in the paintings of the Prado Museum are documented in this book. The description of each object is illustrated with magnificent reproductions of the pictorial works. Along with the hundred or so paintings in the Prado Museum, there are another twenty that can be found in other museums, and images of original pieces of glass that serve as a point of reference for studying some of those that appear painted in the paintings”
